I am an above-average table tennis player myself. I know it is hard to make a good video game on table tennis, but this one is really exceptional. I used the sharp shooter control mode and quickly got “hooked” to the game. I did not read the manual in detail. I just used my common sense and it worked ! The opponents’ gesture told you what they’re going to do and I just returned the ball to the other side. I am very happy because I think this is exactly what the players want: we play table tennis in this way in real life, and it works again in the video game ! I beated the all-stars tournament in a few days’ time. But the game has replay value since I can choose many different characters. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves table tennis.

Wot no ping-pong noise from my wiimote?? Recently purchased (shop around for good deal) had high hopes for this one - this should be pick up ‘n’ play just with wiimote but the only way I can get the ball to go anywhere like where I want I have to use the nunchuck!! Why?? Wii sports tennis has a sense of involvement and is best played standing up - this does not detect backhand and a ’smash’ is executed with a mere ‘flick’ of the wiimote (as a whoosh emits from it) PLEASE!!!! Table tennis will, i’m sure, be better represented on this format in future.

If you are getting RSI from too many games that want you to shake or spin the controller far too fast, and want a slower game that makes you stop and think for a bit, then this is great fun. There is a lot of accuracy required, and occaisionally some fast responses. Despite the games normal gentle speed, however, the adrenaline still starts to quickly gather, especially in the games where you have to split the mercury, and control all parts at once without losing any over the edge. Great fun, and very absorbing. Its also nice that you can unlock levels without having to get absolutely everything right, so you can have levels you just give up on for now if they are just too maddening to continue with!
Customer Review: Like being in the movie Cube - if you were a blob of mercury
For me this is a perfect example of what the Nintendo Wii is great at, simple idea, great gameplay, intuitive control system. Result = great game! The premise is quite simply to tilt the landscape to roll your little blob of mercury to its destination. The game is split into hundreds of levels, each with its own puzzles, mazes, traps etc to navigate. There are also little baddies dotted around who will try to eat you occasionally. The graphics are colourful and effective, but never get themselves tangled up in over elaborate detail or 3Dness. The gameplay is very addictive, you find yourselve always wanting to go just one more level. The music and sound effects are good, music never gets repetetive (good thing given how long you end up playing) with a seemingly endless rotation of songs and genres. I also love the sad noise your mercury makes when it falls of the edge. The control system is perfect, easy to pick up yet tricky to master. You forget your actually holding a remote your so engrossed. So why not 5 out of 5? I’ve given a 4 for a few simple reasons, mainly more features that could have been included: - Multiplayer play? OK its not essential in a game like this but would be fun - Option to play your own music in game via memory card? Would be perfectly suited to the hours of gameplay - On line features? Again not essential, but surely theres potential there. Hopefully these will be included in the sequel! Overall an entertaining, genuinely fun game thats definetly worth investing in.

Customer Review: Much better value than it used to be
These Wii labeled SD cards used to be very overpriced as some of the reviews indicate. However at less than ?4 they are now reasonable value either for use with the Wii, or any other device which uses SD cards. It is worth noting that as has been said this is just a normal SD card (of good make) and does not offer any actual benefit for Wii use over a none Wii labeled good quality SD card.

the SD card is inserted into the Wii anyway so nobody sees or cares what colour it is!!!

There are already a lot of positive comments. I just want to add one more. I am not good at action games because my hands are slow. Therefore I have problems playing Zelda or Super Mario Galaxy. But I really couldn’t believe in myself when I beated this game (albeit in easy mode). I think the design is good so that you can use many tactics instead of brute force. A great game.

Customer Review: Resident Evil - Addicted
Well what can I say, this game is fantastic. Huge maps, problems to solve, lots of weapons to purchase and upgrade, scary music, great backgrounds, excellent controls and shooting… Best Game I’ve ever played I think. Sometimes when the music changes, and the monsters start shouting, your heart starts to race and you run for it (on screen) to find somewhere to hide, whilst you reload, and see if you can spot them.

The ONLY limiting factor to this game in my opinion is that it’s rather too easy to run out of ammunition, but that’s because you are panicking so much, you open fire at anything that moves (this can include chickens!). And that’s the thing with this game, there is simply so much to do, and you can even use new costumes (having a young girl in a suit of armour is terrific, and when Leon catches her, he winces and puts his hands on his hips, a cracking little touch of humour).

Having now completed it quite a few times in Pro Mode, I’ve got all the weapons you can have, yet I play it again, with the basic weapons, for the sport. A lovely head shot at 200 yards is fantastic fun, or seeing how much of the game you can play just using a rocket launcher etc…Or even just using the pistol and shotgun (though you have to use the darts now and again, it’s good fun watching the zombie keep walking, then explode!!). But that’s the thing, there is just so much you can do even in the main game, I’ve even played it to get my kills to over 1000.

Also, the fact that you have Assignment Ada and the other extras just makes it that bit better than any other game I’ve played, and keeps me going back for more and more.

It’s well worth the money !! (And I won’t often say that)

Customer Review: Great Wii fun!
I ended up really liking this game although so far I have only been able to play it on my own. The tournaments are very good and capture very well the atmosphere of a live darts game, the animations and ‘cutting’ of the sequences are very good although I found a few bugs (if you ever end up with 82 left, don’t follow the checkout that comes up, because it comes to 80!) The controls I found took a little getting used to, but after a short while it was pretty easy. I can understand why some reviews slate the game on this though! I like the fact that the control is very similar to the throw of a real dart (although it’s obviously a wii-mote.) To play by yourself would get very boring in a short space of time, but it’s going to take me a while to get to the end of the Career mode so I’m going to be busy trying. To have the extra games such as Cricket and Killer, where multiple players can have a go at the same board is great, making this a fun party game with your mates. All in all, it might seem like a boring game, but in my opinion it’s a great buy, especially if you’re into darts already!

I was really looking forward to this game thinking that it would work great with the intuitive Wii controls. To be perfectly honest I would rather watch bullseye than play this game. When you play a Wii game you expect the controls to be straight forward, hold the remote like a dart as if you was throwing a dart and then throw, but no that doesn’t happen with this game, it either misses the board or misses the place you were aiming at. The only positives I can give this game are that the characters in the game are very accurate and the commentating is spot on. Overall a game that could have been far better than it was.

I was overjoyed to get this game, being a huge lover of kareoke and dancing and thought it would be fantastic. I had it for one night and sold it immediately (thanks Amazon). Although I did have fun (most likely assisted by copious amounts of wine)! I found the game highly irritating because: You have to go through a long and boring tutorial initially. Making the character dance just involves wiggling your hand with the remote and messing about with the nunchuck. Since I clearly couldn’t do this with a mike in my hand we had one person singing and one dancing. There is is a very limited selection of cover songs, of which only a handful are good/recognisable. You can unlock other songs if you are a good singer - which I am NOT so couldn’t get another songf for the life in me. The mike sounds awful and the playback is vile. All in all, it’s good for about a minute, then, like me, you’ll probably decide to just buy a kareoke machine and do it properly!

I really wanted this game so I ignored all the bad reviews about Boogie. However, I am now looking to sell my copy after playing with it (both by myself and with friends) for an evening. This is because: 1) The Dancing is so bad! I do not know who did the programming for this, but they sure do not know how to dance. you sort of wave one hand around while fiddling with the buttons on your left. I wasn’t expecting something as good dance dance revolution- but more in the line of the rayman dance game- which i LOVE, and where you can actually sort of dance to, instead of frantically trying to remember which buttons to push when to get a good score!!! 2) The Songs- why are they SO slow? Part of the fun of karaoke is singing to the song like it is and its definitely not like that! Granted I already sing along to songs like Don’t Cha at the gym and expected to be a bit more pace-y for the game. Also the backing they provide are not… well the best. Slow story mode also means you can’t really have fun with it until you suffered for hours through the boredom. My Advice? Get Rayman for the dancing and also as a bonus all the fun games you can get; then go to your mates for Sing Star!!!

Customer Review: Fun game that will keep you challenged and amused
I just got this game yesterday and so far im impressed and its good fun to play. Im playing it on the Wii which might add to the fun factor. Its got the right voices and the scenery and items etc. are detailed enough. There is plenty to do and you can change the level of difficulty via the options which is good. Its new cases which I havnt seen on any other CSI game which is refreshing plus there are more lab machines to interact with and matching fingerprints etc. is harder work which is a plus. My boyfriend and I are playing it together which is fun and we have nearly finished the first case. As we get better at it I might make it more difficult. The only downside I can see is some people might criticise the graphics as they could be better but when I play a game on the Wii its not for the graphics but for the fun factor of being involved and the interaction.

Pretty much agree with everything said by the other reviewer. All the tools, all the characters, and very engaging storylines. Can be a bit tedious going backwards and forwards looking for a missing piece, but thats what would happen in real life so not too big a complaint. Completed the first case in about four hours with the mrs, with a great sense of achievement afterwards! Would recommend to any CSI fan who isnt impatient.

Customer Review: Mega Fun!!
The mega pack really adds to the fun of the Wii. If you like playing tennis or baseball on the Wii you’ll the Mega Pack. Not so sure about the golf club, it’s a bit on the short side. Having said that, the Mega Pack is well priced against similar available items and very easy to use. As mentioned by a previous reviewer these add-ons block the infra-red signal to the motion sensor, however, it is very easy to set a game up first and then connect the attachment. After that you can access most controls using the buttons on the remote. The attachments are easy to add or remove so the kids shouldn’t have any problems changing them between sports. Definitely worth the money - they really enhance the games.

The thing is I know there’s “ROMS” out there but to be fair I hate them, I don’t mind them if others likes to play on these but I’d rather to play a “actual” game with a controller pad, or at least have a sense of feeling to “own” it.

Virtual Console is excellent once you think about it - sure you can get some games for cheaper, but what about Paper Mario? That’s rare, and you would have to fork over alot for that. However on VC it’s only ?7.50, and it’s even perfect emulated (most ROMs for Paper Mario aren’t perfect in my opinion).

I would strongly recommend Virtual Console to every Wii owner, it’s cheap than you’d think and it can be addicative. I’ve been playing Legend of Zelda: LTTP/Mario Kart 64 non-stop, and I’m loving it with Classic Controller. Worth it.

2000 points card is something worth buying if you want the Internet Channel and some retro games from Super Nintendo, Nes, Mega Drive, Nintendo 64 and others i don’t care about. Well this is great if you want classics such as Streets of Rage, Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario, Starfox 64, Sonic The Hedgehog. The games i find though are a little overpriced Nes games been 500 points, Super Nintendo and Mega Drive been 800 points each, Nintendo 64 from 1000 to 1200 it bit expensive in my mind.
The only games i have ever bought off this was Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2 which was worth it i have had loads of hours out of the game. The sad thing is if your Wii breaks your going to have to buy these games again as you cannot transfer then to another Wii system unless Nintendo will replace the system.

If you have a wireless connection in your home then check this out if not check out Nintendo wireless thing they made not sure what it is called.

If you have the money check it out though Nintendo’s Europe site are giving you points by registering your Nintendo games on the site. Now they offer points to you for buying there products always check the card inside the game once you buy it then go to the Nintendo website and enter the number from the card you got from the game. Great way from Nintendo to finally let you use your star points from the Nintendo Europe site to change them to Wii Points.

I bought what I thought was a second WII controller as a Christmas present. However The controller would not power on. Four blue lights come on when the inside red light is pressed but we cannot sinc it to the console. Also the instructions were in Japanese and the box stated for use in Japan only. I cannot understand why Amazon advertise these on there site. It appears that this is through an Amazon subsidiary and there is no returns policy online. There is a claims procedure for refunds but the Amazon website does not have enough information or tell you what to do with the WII controller. I would recommend strongly NOT to purchase a second controller through Amazon.

I honestly want to cry with sadness at how utterly poor this game is!! After half an hour, the hardest tutorial, the most ridiculous controls and the most pitiful game idea it was back to the shop! Honestly i was SO excited about a Simpsons Wii game, but it offered nothing unique for the wii, you used the wii-mote only as a controller, no spins, smashes or clever moves that you woudl be used to with the wii. It was hard to understand and rubbish! I wonder if I had given it longer it would have got better, but then I compare it to Mario Galaxy (BEST EVER!) which was instantly fab and assume no, if I don’t like it now i never will! (funnily though my sister and her boyf have it on the PS3 and love it!). Don’t wast your money! Shame on you Simpson brand for selling out! GET MARIO GALAXY INSTEAD!

Customer Review: Fantastic Multiplayer game
For anyone who has bothered to link their Wii console to the internet, this game has got one of the best multiplayer games in the market. The wii gamepad adds to the addictiveness of the game by being very simple to use and allows gamers of all levels to dive straight into it. It maybe a little limited in the arcade option as the AI level of the enemy is pretty basic…but I urge you to buy this game for the multiplayer option alone….It is absolutely brilliant and you won’t be able to put your console down.

Ok so MOHH2 isnt going to recieve the award for being the best online FPS of the year or anything. HOWEVER it is in my opinion the absolute best FPS the wii has to offer. Got online on your wii? Simply…get it! It a first person shooter that delivers a lot where multiplayer is concerned. But if you dont have online and want a brilliant shooter campaign. Then im pointing you in the direction of metroid prime 3, call of duty 3, medal of honor vanguard and the upcoming brothers in arms: road to hill 30.

Arcade 3/5: I dont know what i was expecting but it isnt anything that youll be clamouring to play. You might if youre bored or are just desperate to get some wii zapper usage going. The arcade follows all the levels of the campaign while the wii moves you and you shoot. The downside of this is you have to use the weapons you’re given, have to shoot mega fast enemies to get to the side objectives and the whole thing leaves you with a sense of uncompletion and that somethings missing in it.

Campaign 4/5: There are 7 levels. Each one of them are particuarly short, but its a great way to get you into the feel of the controls and weapons for online. But it is quite slow paced and not anything that gives a next gen feel. Everything in the campaign feels like it could have been played on a ps2 or xbox. But this game isnt really a sigle player located game so if you’ve done even the slightest research on this game you wont be expecting much.

Multiplayer 5/5: The best ive seen on the wii. With everything youll expect from an online first person shooter. Lobbies, seperate rooms, names instead of friend codes, leaderboards and even a nice chat system between friends. When you get into the games you’ll feel right at home and start getting many hours of enjoyment out of it. This is the reason you should buy this game. It definitly feels like a next gen shooter and dont get put off by the 6 maps and 3 game modes. When you start going you just wont care.

A great game and a definite must buy for online users of the wii!
